COST: $250 - Registration Deadline is Wednesday, October 3rd.
FORMAT: Pool Play and Single Elimination Tournament
(Top two teams from each pool advance to the tournament)
DIVISIONS: Men's, Women's and Co-rec
TEAM CHECK-IN: Friday, October 12th, 4:30 - 5:00 p.m., Ramsey Center Lobby
CAPTAIN'S MEETING: Friday, October 12th, 5:30 p.m., Room 205 - 206, Ramsey Center
RULES: 2011-2012 NIRSA Flag Football Rules
I.D. CARDS: All players must bring their school I.D.'s as they will be checked prior to each game played.
AWARDS: 1st and 2nd Place Team Trophies
Team Sportsmanship Trophies for all divisions
State Champion T-shirts for 1st place team members
All-State Team (six per division)
MVP for each division (2 for Co-rec)
All-State Officials
CONCESSIONS: Refreshments and tournament t-shirts will be sold out of a Coca-Cola trailer near the parking deck.
ELIGIBILITY: No 2011-2012 or current year varsity football players are allowed to participate. Each roster must be checked, signed and stamped by the school's registrar's office before obtaining the intramural coordinator's signature.
New this year: Players will have the opportunity to participate on a Co-Rec team as well as on a Men's or Women's team, however, there will be no scheduling considerations made for players choosing to play in both tournaments. Teams must make sure they will have enough players for both teams to be able to play should games be scheduled simultaneously.
EQUIPMENT: Flag belts may be checked out with the supervisor on each field.
