12th Annual Southeastern Flag Football Officials Workshop at The University of Georgia  The 12th Annual Southeastern Flag Football Officials Workshop (SEFFOW) held at The University of Georgia in Athens is right around the corner. This workshop should take place before your Intramural Flag Football season, which creates a terrific learning opportunity for officials of all skill levels. SEFFOW provides many opportunities to learn while gaining on the field experience as a flag football official. Veteran officials can brush up on the rules, mechanics, and new rule changes while beginning officials can get a jump-start on campus training by learning rules, mechanics, positioning, and signals. DATES: Saturday and Sunday, August 29 - 30, 2009 LOCATION: The Ramsey Student Center 330 River Road Athens, Georgia 30602 ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, August 26th at 5:00pm. REGISTRATION FEE: $ 40.00 - Registration fee will cover one Fox 40 Whistle, 2009-2010 Flag Football Rule Book, and SEFFOW t-shirt FORMAT: Participants will partake in classroom sessions covering topics such as mechanics, rule changes, and game management while having an opportunity to practice and hone these skills on the field. CHECK- IN: 9:00am Saturday with classroom sessions beginning at promptly at 10:00am.
