Eligible Participants and Fees
University of Georgia students, faculty, staff and alumni are eligible for first priority sign-up on all outdoor trips. Alumni must be members of the Ramsey Student Center to qualify for the second price listed. If not, alumni will pay the third price listed along withUGA-sponsored, non-UGA persons.
Minimum age for "non UGA" registration is 16 years. Some outings may provide a younger limit if the activity is designated "parent-child."
Trip & Climbing Wall Registration
Register by paying the required fee at the Cashier's Window located in the lobby of the Ramsey Student Center. Reservations are confirmed on a first-pay basis. Registration begins on the first day of the semester. Bring your UGA ID Card and be prepared to pay with cash, check, Bulldog Bucks, MasterCard or Visa. Register by the Wednesday before the trip date or prior to the pre-trip meeting. Register 24 hours in advance of wall clinics All participants are required to sign a liability waiver form.

Refunds
DEPARTMENTAL REFUND POLICY
Full refunds are issued if the Department of Recreational Sports cancels a class, activity or program. All other refunds are charged a $15.00 processing fee. Classes, activities and programs costing less than $15.00 are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds can only be considered if there is a documented medical condition that precludes completion of the activity. If a refund is warranted after activity has begun, it is pro-rated based upon the activity start date.
GORP TRIPS
Participant cancellations made more than one week before the trip/clinic can be refunded - minus a $15 processing fee - IF a replacement is found. No refund is given for participant cancellations made the week of the event or for a "no show."
PAYMENTS FOR BREAK TRIPS
Deposits are always non-refundable and any money paid toward the trip balance is not refundable after the final balance deadline. All payment deadlines must be met or space will be canceled and payments forfeited.
CLIMBING WALL CLINICS
No refunds are given for participant cancellation of a Climbing Wall Clinic as it is under the $15 processing fee limit. A participant may switch to another clinic during the same semester if notification is given to the Cashier's Window more than three days prior to the clinic.
ORC - OUTDOOR REC CENTER
No refunds for equipment rented from ORC unless GORP cancels a trip in which the participant was scheduled to participate.
