Trip Description

Experienced backpackers are invited to join Matt for this great fall backpacking trip. Steep and challenging terrain is rewarded by spectacular views, tumbling creeks and old-growth forest. This two-day backpacking trip will follow a 14 mile loop from the banks of Santeetlah Creek up to a broad ridgeline gap known as 'Naked Ground' where we will set up a primitive
campsite on Saturday night. The pre-trip meeting is mandatory.
